Today is the beginning of the 2012 Senior Representative Contest! :)

So I am pretty excited about this contest that is starting today!  I think it will be a great success...and honestly I am looking forward to hearing from all of the seniors out there...just to see what they have to say about things!

      So you are interested in a free Senior Portrait session????  AWESOME!  I have a great deal for you!  On June 8th, 2011 I will be picking 3 Seniors, each senior will be from a different school in the Kansas City Metro area.  Those 3 students will receive a FREE Senior Portrait session (see details at the bottom of this page)!  In return, the students will advertise me in the best way they know how.  Each will be given 30 business cards and facebook photos with logos on them. 
     If you, or someone you know, are interested please write me and tell me why you would make a good representative.   It doesn’t have to be a 5 page long letter…just enough to let me know what kind of person you are.   Don’t forget to include: your name, school that you attend, and a way to contact you (phone number or email address will be fine).

     The deadline for this contest is June 4th, 2011, and the winners will be announced on June 8th, 2011!  I am very excited about this contest, and I can't wait to hear from you!
The (not so small) small print:
A Senior Portrait Session is 2 hours long, and can include 2 locations.  You will get 1 set of CDs and rights to the photos.  There is no limit of photos that can be taken at a session.  Several outfit changes are allowed at the session.  I do not print out photos, but the CDs can be taken to any location and printed out at your discretion.

Hopefully I get more than 3 responses :)  But if I don't, I guess it won't be hard to choose the winners!

I am trying to think of some different ideas for this spring/summer/fall...I just want a general poll on the ideas before I put alot of time into them...

No, I don't do nude photography!



It is kind of funny...every time I post an ad on Craigslist, a man will call me and ask if I do "Adult" photography photos, because he wants photos of him or him and his wife.  The nicest response I can come up with is... "If I can't show a photo to my grandma, then I can't take the photos."  The first time it was hilarious, the second and 3rd time it was still pretty funny, but now it is just getting a little crazy!  Whoever does nude photos in Kansas City is probably making ALOT of money! lol

Now that I have this blog loaded onto my website, maybe some of those men will read this post...



I am pretty sure that my niece is going to remember me as her "crazy aunt" who does nothing but follow her around, and take photos of her.  So far she doesn't seem to mind, every time I pull out the camera she smiles.  But she also has to realize...that she is the only one that I can tell what to do (lol), SO...... until I can find someone else willing to let me take photos of them 24/7, she is cursed with me :)

I am going to try to take pics of the important things that I want to remember about her....and the "kissy face" is one of those things I don't want to forget! It is just the cutest thing ever...

My second blog...

Hey guys!  Things are going to get pretty busy, very quickly!  And that is a GOOD thing :)  I am tired of sitting around and watching tv, and editing every picture that I own 4 or 5 times...ha ha...

I just wanted to remind you guys that I am available for spur of the moment events, or if you are surprising a significant other, I would love to take photos of your loved ones face when they find out they have been conned:)  I have taken part in several of these instances, and they are sooo much fun!

***I just got done working on some photos of a cute couple, so hopefully I will get those uploaded tomorrow...exciting!***

Well, I figured that everyone has a blog now....so I should get with the times, and start my own! :) 

When I was a kid my dad was always taking photos of me, you could say that he inspired me to start taking my own photos.  A few years ago I started taking family photos for friends.....and I had so much fun doing it, I started taking photos full-time :)  I just love how one photo can tell a story, and how they can make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside...I know that is a little corny....but it is just how I feel :)

Things about me:

I am a very sarcastic person and a bit of a jokester....making someone laugh is the best compliment that I can get...so I am constantly joking about something...

I am addicted to Diet Pepsi...(if anyone knows of a rehab facility for this problem....Please let me know!)

I am a little bit of a perfectionist....if I am doing a project I have to do things RIGHT, or just not do it at all...this is a good trait, but at the same time I find it a little annoying....
